The White Lion Inn, Wymondham

The White Lion Inn offers a rustic and cosy atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.
At The White Lion Inn we have eight centrally heated en-suite rooms comprising of five doubles, one twin, one family room and one single, all decorated and furnished to a high standard with double glazed windows. Each room is equipped with a colour flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi Internet access and hairdryer. Children are welcome and a cot and high chair can be provided upon request.
We serve Breakfast / Lunch/Evening meals. Our restaurant is not open on Monday. Our dishes are all made from locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Veg/Vegan/GF Menus are available We have a delicious selection of fine wines from all over the world to compliment our traditional ales and ciders.
In warmer weather you can enjoy a drink or meal in our country garden which sits next to the brook or on our covered patio area . Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden areas.
We also boast a resident Magician. Chris entertains locals and diners alike with his wit and close-up Magic, making the evening that bit more special. Chris is also available for bookings – holding the British Close- up Championship Award.
Our facilities include a small function room with dance floor available for private hire, accessible toilets, bar and comfortable seating areas, restaurant and outside facilities including our new Pizza and BBQ Grill. Eight en-suite rooms, parking and bicycle facilities, dog walking areas and a five minute walk takes you to an excellent park for younger children. We have a village shop and travelling to Oakham and Melton Mowbray Towns takes about 15 minutes. The bus stops right outside the pub if you don’t want to drive and Rutland Water Nature Reserve and sailing lake is only 15 minutes from the pub.
