Visitors to our area can enjoy Fishing, Shooting, and in the Village is the start of Loch Ken, where at the Marina, you can hire a boat. And further along the road you can hire boats from Loch Ken Marina. There is also A Red Kite feeding station, which attracts great numbers of Bird watchers. In the nearby town of Castle Douglas which is known as a food town, You can find Restaurants that will provide..... Greek, Chinese, Indian, and Italian, as well as traditional home cooking. For the Gardeners we have Threave Gardens, which is part of the National Trust for Scotland, But we also have other Gardens to explore. For the Children, there are many places to go, Mabie Farm Park, The Cocoa Bean Chocolate Factory and large play area's, Cream of Galloway Farm, with plenty to keep the kids happy, not to mention the Ice Cream which is made at the farm. New Ernespie farm & Play facilities at Castle Douglas for the children. Creetown Gem Rock Museum. Many other places to see around our beautiful area.

We only have one room on the ground floor, which is a twin room the other rooms are accessed by stairs, We are Child friendly. There is plenty of free parking area for your car, no parking meters in the whole of Kirkcudbrightshire. We also have free Wi-Fi for our guests.
