The Sportsmans Inn Limited, Ivybridge

The Sportsmans Inn is a traditional olde worlde Devon country inn with the added bonus of a 14 bedroom hotel.

Here we take pride in the values of a bygone age where service and personal touches were what made the pubs of England great!

Whether it be just a drink from our extensively stocked bar, a light snack from our bar menu or an a la carte meal , we try to cater for all your needs. With a large car park and a raised Restaurant beside a dance floor we offer the perfect venue for your party needs.

The saloon bar, which has a separate entrance, is the ideal room to hold early morning meetings at only £10 per hour charge. All beverages are available throughout the day, and breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged. We also have a screen and a flip chart holder for your use, coupled with free WI-FI.

In the warmer weather our large beer garden is available for a quick snack or a glass of wine. Why not try one of our local real ales with a delicious lunch or one of our famous sandwiches. Look out for special barbecue events.

Our rooms are available all year round, they range from twin rooms, doubles, family and of course our 4 poster.
All have complimentary tea and coffee and local spring water. En- suite bath or shower rooms (except the economy room which has a private bathroom just outside the room), full English breakfast is included in our prices. Bill and Doh Hibbert, the landlord and landlady, are entering their 35th year here at The Sportsmans so we are pleased to be celebrating that with plenty of events going on throughout the year .

Disabled access and disabled toilets are a feature of The Sportsmans. we were the first hostelry in Ivybridge to become ' disabled friendly' with the mayor cutting the ribbon of the disabled toilet!!
