Inside the Generator Venice hostel are luxurious mosaic floors, a glass chandelier and an imposing stone fireplace. Generator Venice stands on the waterfront of the island of Giudecca, one shortstop on the Vaporetto from Piazza San Marco. This hostel was originally a warehouse, so the building blends history and character with contemporary design features.
