A warm welcome awaits you at the Brewer's Arms, a traditional country pub in the picturesque village of Martinstown near Dorchester in Dorset. We are a favourite destination for walkers & cyclists, being well placed for many popular walks and close to Maiden Castle, Hardy's Monument and the Jurassic Coast. We're also ideally located if you are heading west to Cornwall and want to break your journey in comfort.
We have two beautifully decorated and spacious bed and breakfast rooms. Both rooms have their own private entrance and are fully en-suite - one room features a full wet room, making it ideally suited for wheelchair users. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in both rooms and in the bar area of the pub.
Rooms are available room only or to include breakfast. If you opt for breakfast this will be delivered to your room, a breakfast menu will be provided for you, we will just require your breakfast order the night before with a time you would like to receive it. To avoid disappointment please be careful when selecting your room as if you select room only, we often make plans around this as we are a small business and may not be able to accommodate if you change your mind.
The pub has a friendly village atmosphere and offers great homemade food, sourced locally wherever possible. Menu favourites include steak and stilton pie, beer battered fish & chips and a delicious Sunday roast. PLEASE NOTE THE PUB IS CLOSED SUNDAY EVENINGS AND ALL DAY MONDAYS.
