The Kellbank offers 20 beautifully appointed en-suite rooms, located in a quiet area towards the rear of the hotel and provide a range of modern amenities including, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities with freshly ground coffee.

The rooms on the ground floor offer views over the hotel gardens and provide easier access, whereas the first floor rooms afford views over the Wasdale Valley and the highest peak the majestic Scafell Pike.

Situated in Gosforth (Seascale), this hotel is in the newly awarded World Heritage Sites and only a short drive to the Wasdale Valley for Wast Water & Scafell Pike just a five-minute drive to Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. Muncaster Castle and the World Owl Trust.

This was a lovely place to stay with children, the parks are great and the children made friends each evening. The staff serving were very friendly and welcoming and the food was really good! The option of fruit at breakfast would have been nice and as we were staying there three nights a top up on the in room coffee etc would have been appreciated.

Directions From the South

Take the M6 to Junction 36. At the roundabout take the first exit onto A590 and follow A590 over the following 2 roundabouts. Turn right onto A5092 keep straight onto the A595. At Gosforth sign turn right into Gosforth. At the roundabout turn right and follow the road to the next turning on the right (Eskdale Road). Follow Eskdale road and turning for The Kellbank is on the right immediately after the left-hand bend.

Directions From the North

Take the M6 to Junction 40. Take A66 towards Keswick and continue on the A66 to A5086. Follow A5086 to A595. Follow A595 to sign for Gosforth, bear left and follow the road to a mini roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and follow the road through Gosforth to next turning on the right (Eskdale Road). Follow Eskdale road and turning for The Kellbank is on right immediately after the left-hand bend.

Nearest station – Seascale, 5 miles away. Taxi’s available or collection can be arranged
