The Pension "Am Checkpoint" is a comfortable accommodation in the core of Berlin, near the renowned Friedrichstrasse and Checkpoint Charlie.
The 1 and 2-room lofts were modernized in 2012 and are arranged roughly 30 meters from the renowned "Friedrichstrasse". With its assortment of cafés, eateries, and boutiques, this is truly outstanding and most preferred shopping roads in Berlin or even Germany.
Due to the central location, in the heart of historic Berlin, all major sights can be easily reached by foot. It will only take you about 15 minutes to the magnificent allée "Unter den Linden", the Potsdamer Square, the Brandenburg Gate or to the Reichstag. The Checkpoint Charlie museum and the Gendarmenmarkt are only next door.
You will find a splendid network of public transport nearby, by using the underground U6 and U2, from station "Stadtmitte”, various bus lines or the suburban trains, you can reach any part of Berlin in no time.
The apartments require a minimum stay of 2 nights.
Since January 1, 2014 guests have to pay the so-called city-tax upon arrival. The city-tax is imposed by the city of Berlin in the amount of 5% on the room rate. The city-tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid in cash at the hotel.
