Gallery Guesthouse is run by friendly & welcoming resident proprietors, who fully appreciate the importance of an informative & attentive service & will be on hand to offer advice & assistance to make your visit to Plymouth as enjoyable as possible. We also support local Artists throughout the whole of the house which doubles up as our Gallery space.
All our rooms are comfortable & tastefully decorated, most with ensuite facilities. There is no charge for Wifi. Freeview TV, drink making facilities, ironing & hair drying facilities all come as standard. We have three parking spaces available on a first come first serve basis. If a space is not available we are able to provide permits for on street parking based on the current charges. If you are celebrating, flowers, balloons, chocolates, fruits & champagne breakfasts can all be arranged - charges apply.
Please note our latest check-in on first day of arrival is strictly 9pm.
Ideally situated opposite the University of Plymouth, Gallery Guesthouse is perfectly placed for the excellent transport links of the City Centre, Mutley Plain & North Hill. The railway and coach stations are both approximately 10 minutes walk away (or a very short taxi ride). The Brittany Ferry terminal is a short drive away.
Gallery Guesthouse is in a great location from which to explore the centre of Plymouth, with its theatres, museums & the historic, yet cosmopolitan Barbican area close by, where you will also find The National Marine Aquarium & some great eating & meeting places. Additionally, fully guided tours of the City, Dartmoor & surrounding area can be arranged.
The rest of Devon & Cornwall are easily reached, where you can discover the enchantment of coast & countryside, all at once. We have Dartmoor National Park & the South West Coastal Path on our doorstep. Not forgetting of course, some fabulous Golf & Fishing venues. The choice is yours; if you need an
