District - Marzahn-Hellersdorf district The Marzahn-Hellersdorf district is mainly used as a residential area and is known for the Gardens of the World, a park with Chinese, Japanese, oriental and other globally inspired gardens that were created on the occasion of the Berlin Garden Show in 1987.
