The Jasmine Room is a Grade II listed cottage located next door to Great Bentley Cricket Club over looking one of the UK's largest Greens in the village of Great Bentley dating back from circa 1650, steeped in history,with a wealth of original beams, flooring, period features to include a quirky staircase. Guests are to take care when navigating round the cottage due to the original staircase being quirky and uneven floor boards and in parts low beams and door frames.
The private lounge can accommodate two further guests on a small double sofa bed as well as a pull out bed for one person also. The lounge boasts a flat screen TV with Netflix, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary hand made chocolate truffles or shortbread.
The ground floor spacious ensuite boasts a beautiful spa bath and walk in shower with Molton Brown products and bathrobes
The upstairs bedroom with its exposed beams and original flooring has a very comfortable double bed with opulent bed linens and a chandelier taking centre stage.
A full English Breakfast is served daily with local produce from the village butcher's, to include breakfast sausages, bacon and black pudding. Continental style is served daily also.
Free WiFi and car parking are available onsite.
Ironing/laundry and baby sitting services are available on request, as are home cooked meals and pack lunches.
Brightlingsea is approx 5 miles away giving access to the Essex coastline.
Dedham is 10 miles, nestled within Constable Country.
Clacton on Sea is 5 miles away with its Pier and Beaches.
Lying west is Colchester town centre, approx 9 miles away, surrounded by it's Roman wall and Norman Castle.The town also has it's own multi- screen cinema, the Mercury theatre and the Firstsite Art Gallery.
Train station is a 5 minute walk away with services to all towns and London Liverpool Street.
