Rockvale House a large Victorian house, was initially the summer residence of a Bristol merchant. Having undergone several changes, it is now an elegant guest house with 6 en-suite guest rooms. The bar is well stocked, and the lounge has an open log fire, comfortable seating and a selection of books and cds for your use. The area is very popular with walkers and cyclists with many scenic routes. Please ask to borrow maps of the local area.
The town centre of Lynton is only a 2 minute walk away; it is linked to the harbour village of Lynmouth by the famous Victorian water powered cliff railway. Lynton offers a range of amenities such as a bank, post office, chemist, several places to eat and its own independent cinema. Whatever you choose to do in Exmoor you can be sure of a warm welcome at Rockvale House
