Lifton Hall is a Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet. Ideally situated for exploring the area, we are just 5 minutes from Thushel River and close to various lakes for fishing, watersports and in season both shooting and hunting are available.
The old market town Launceston is 10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive. For golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the area, with the closest 10-15 minutes drive away.
Our restaurant has loads of traditional charm, including beams and a log burner, and is the perfect place to enjoy an ale and some freshly cooked food. We have an outside seating area where you can sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wireless internet in all rooms and communal areas. Free parking.
We are not open to non-residents other than Wednesdays for quiz night, Saturdays for afternoon tea and Sundays for our amazing Sunday roast.
We welcome well behaved pets, as long as you let us know they're coming. There's a £7.50 charge per pet per day.
