Beautifully positioned in the village of Wadeford near Chard, The Haymaker Inn is perfectly situated as an ideal base for all the must see attractions in the local area such as Cricket St Thomas, Lyme Regis, Forde Abbey and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. The Haymaker comes complete with its own ghost, unfortunately we have not met "busty Victoria" or her suitors but there is a story in the dining room telling guests of years gone by.
Come and stay in one of our 5 en-suite guest rooms, all of which feature a 32" flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building (please note, wi-fi can be a bit unreliable due to the position of the property and thick walls). There is separate access to the accommodation that doesn't require guests to go through the bar area should you prefer. All rooms include a cooked breakfast and our chefs pride themselves on dealing with allergies should you have any specific dietary requirements we will be more than happy to discuss those with you prior to your arrival. Hair dryers, ironing facilities and a travel cot can also be provided on request.
The restaurant offers value for money homemade meals during the lunchtime (Mon - Sat 12 - 2, Sun 12 - 3) and evenings Mon - Sat 6 - 8.30) . Why not book the restaurant for your event?
