The Glenora is a beautiful Victorian house built in the late 1800's double fronted with large bay windows and high ceilings and still maintains some of its original features. We have a Pretty South Facing Front Lawned Garden with Outdoor Seating with views of the North Yorkshire Moors and distant hills, which our guests are welcome to use. We have limited parking for three cars available on our drive.
We have five guest bedrooms of which four are Ensuite. The bedrooms are larger than most with some original features which make this house pretty special.
On the ground floor to the front we have a twin room Ensuite (bath with shower over)
All our other rooms are on the first floor which include:
standard double Ensuite to the rear of the house. Our family room Ensuite, kingsize Ensuite and single with separate private shower room across the landing are all located to the front of the house.
All rooms have Flat Screen TV's, Hospitality Trays, Kettle, Hair Dryer and shaver points. Ironing Board and Iron are available on Request. Free WiFi
One look usually convinces guests that they have found the right place to stay.
Breakfast is served in the ground floor dining room, which overlooks the garden, from 8.30 to 9.30am. A selection of cereal and juice is available also porridge and full English breakfast using fresh locally sourced products, free range eggs and the famous Fortunes Smoked Kippers. We do run a pre-order system to ensure everything is perfectly cooked and ready.
If you have any dietary requirements please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate these. ## PLEASE NOTE BREAKFAST IS NOT SERVED ON THURSDAYS DUE TO FAMILY COMMITMENTS ##
If you are celebrating anything special we can arrange to book a restaurant or order flowers, so please just ask. If you are a Cyclist we have a secure place to put your bike.
