History

This new building is built on the site of Oxford's lost college - St Mary's. This college was established in 1435 but fell into disrepair just 100 years later, it's demise was linked to the Dissolution of the Monasteries during King Henry VIII's reign.

There are other buildings within the same Frewin site including Frewin Hall, a Grade 1 Tudor mansion house, currently being internally renovated, this work is being carried out during 09.00-17.00 and will have very minimal impact.

Food & beverage

There is no catering on site, however the building is in the centre of Oxford so is surrounded by many eateries, including cafes, restaurants, Cornmarket Street, The Covered Market etc

If you book a signifant number (10 or above) of rooms together in a group booking, additional catering can be requested.

Tea and coffee facilities are provided in each bedroom.

A lower ground floor social space/ common room is also available to use during the stay.

Grounds & Gardens

The building has its own terrace/ courtyard garden and this has seasonal flowers and borders.
