Previously an old coaching inn & famous fishing lodge on the main A837 Lairg - Lochinver Road, the Altnacealgach has been catering for outdoor sportsmen & fisherman since Victorian times.
Following a catastrophic fire in 1986 the inn was rebuilt as a pub/restaurant and motel; the pub/restaurant in the old converted barn and the accommodation in a new self–contained block.
The Altnacealgach Motel is set in a peaceful and picturesque location with all rooms looking out across Loch Borralan.
Relax and have a drink or meal next door at the Altnacealgach Inn where you can chat by the fire with other guests and locals.
